Blush: Tons of minor updates! For a breakdown:

Voice actresses page has been updated with more information about Mizutani Yuuko as well as both her and Colleen O'Shaughnessey's opinions on Sora.

The Mimi and Taichi articles in the relationships section were touched up with — yay — quotes!!

The Taiora article in the other section has the biggest update. I added tons of quotes from the voice cast, and now it has been annotated with a bibliography! I plan to have a bibliography on every page soon so look forward to that! (If you can...)

The credits page has been updated. Check out the lovely sources that helped make Blush what it is today.

As some of my articles in the other section look quite bare without pictures, I am looking for fanartists that would willingly like to donate their fanart for display purposes. I will give full credit where it's due, and if you are uncomfortable with your artwork being on display, I will take it down upon request. It's because I would rather use a fan portrayal for an opinionated section, if you get what I mean~

Lunar: Lunar has a brand new spankin' layout made by kitare for the layout marathon at amassment. Whooohooooo!! Go check it out.

The website has also been recoded to XHTML. Some misc. info have been added but otherwise, nothing new, sorry.

I also removed links to all websites hosted on Geocities due to the fact that Geocities is closing this year. If you've moved your site to a new location, feel free to tell me so I can link it again!

So, in case you guys don't know, Toei has officially subbed all of Digimon Adventure 02 and FUNimation is streaming it from their website. About time, yeah? After all these years? Totally awesome. I'll have to redo some of my translations on my Sora site as my Japanese is the crappy (though I am not sure if I want to copy the subtitles word from word).

Watching the show made me ultimately remember how much I absolutely adored Miyako. She is such a gem! Uwaaa, she's so cute, especially in the Japanese version. I may want to put her on a project list someday because she is my absolute favorite female character ever, and I've never been able to create a fan site to her because of lack of time. Maybe something will change soon.

Also, should I bring back my Yoshino site? Tell me what you think!

Blush: Well, this week has been pretty eventful and lucky. Yesterday, this website was nominated and won Shrine of the Month at amassment with very kind reviews. I'm really flattered. Thank you so much!

hisashi:This brings nostalgia back. I, too, also remember watching Digimon when I was in elementary. Josephine brings in so much information and breaks down so much of Sora's character. So much I would never really have thought about before reading her site.

The layout is very clean and easy to navigation, and the pixel style art is very different than the usual sort of layouts we see. I really like how Josephine broke down the background and Sora's history into a timeline, allowing the viewers to see just how long Sora's story really stretches. And there's so much about Sora's image song as well as her primary color. Everyone should check out this site.

eclairvoyant: I find this site heavily underrated. And why should it be? This is the epitome of what a fansite should be like, especially on a character that may not be so popular. Not only does it stress significant details as well as analysis, but Josephine gives a complete breakdown of her character - from her pros to her cons. She also isn't afraid to speak her mind of the character and the reactions of the fans. Add a lovely design and a well-balanced media section (hey, she made her own translations and voice-clippings), and this site is just pure inspiration.

The banner's up on the site. Puts a lot of pressure on me to make my other sites (cough, Kouji) look just as good.

You should visit this shrine because...: After hearing the Digimon Adventure series mentioned, many of you will become misty-eyed at childhoods long past. Or perhaps that's just sad old me. "Blush" is a massive dedication to Takenouchi Sora from Digimon Adventure and a breathtaking example of shrine making at its finest. Although it has been close to a decade since the series debuted, "Blush" continues to be an exciting resource for both new and old fans alike. After flipping through even one or two sections on the shrine, why this is so becomes quite clear. The key to its ongoing validity is its foundation in epigrammatic articles that carefully balance the subjective and objective.

"Blush" is absolutely bursting with facts, translations and important notes about Sora as a character. These elements are balanced by a strong focus on Josephine's personal interpretations and opinions. This careful blend between fact and interpretation means that no facet of "Blush" feels dull or unreadable. Every article -large or small- exposes something new for the reader to think about, to question. It's a terribly insightful, enjoyable shrine that takes a deeper look at a character many will still fondly remember from their childhoods. "Blush" isn't simply a written experience though, and fans will be equally impressed with the goodies available to visitors. My one complaint? There aren't more shrines like this one, in the Digimon fandom or otherwise.

Highlight: I rather liked the "Other" subsection, in which Josephine analyzes various aspects of Sora in her own unique way. Grab a coffee and enjoy a stimulating read.

Lunar: Some of you may or may not have noticed, but I have also reuploaded Kouji back onto the Internet for the same reasons I did for Sora. Nothing has been changed on the site so far as of yet.

Now, I'm not sure if I want to reupload Yoshino due to lack of interest. It's not because Digimon Savers has ended in the US recently, it's because I will probably never get to updating that site again. Compared to Masaru, Thomas, and Ikuto, Yoshino only had about 2-3 episodes of character development and was shoved to the background as soon as it was resolved. It's like, "Ooh, Yoshino dealt with her problem and evolved Lalamon into Lilamon; okay, we're done." I don't hate Yoshino and I'm not bashing her; she is one of my favorite characters, after all... but if I make a fan site to her again, I'll have to start fresh because she has little development. She is nearly the same as she was from the beginning of the series.

A comeback?

Blush: ... well, it's back. I figured that since there was so much effort and information from the site, I might as well leave it online. However, updates will probably seldom. If anything, I will only update existing pages with grammatical or information corrections, or images to present with the articles as most of them look quite bare in their text-only state.

Blush has a new layout, featuring the KISS principle (Keep it Simple, Stupid!), using pixel art made by me. Although it may look like there are more sections, I only turned the subsections in the infobase into their own categories to prevent people from getting lost in the site (as in having too many clicks to find the page they want). Also, some pages have been moved into different categories so they would be more appropriate to the topic.

Last but not least, two new translations have been uploaded!
